In the big land of the big two comic news, DC is dropping the Comics Code and Image and Top Cow are merging a little more snugly together. And then of course, there’s the whole one-of-the-Fantastic-Four-is-going-to-be-killed-offsales headway in the digital comics arena and it’s pretty reasonable that people are willing to pay $2.99 for a digital comic.
I’m not a big fan, but some creators are going to like being able to make digital images expire. Next thing you know, they’ll apply it all non-subscription media like music or movies. I’m not sure I would buy a comic that would expire, so I hope it goes nowhere.
