Advice, Tools and Tips

Just starting out in webcomics? Wondering what books will help? Comic Tools has the answers. The only thing I might add is to get a foundation and then start creating and refine as you go. Need some ideas on getting started? We have that available, too.

And here are 100 three word phrases for you to get inspiration from.

Life of Darrell had some good ideas on promoting your webcomic while McLachlan had tips on classic cover design, keeping yourself updating and coloring.

And what a difference seemingly small choices can make, like the shape of your word balloons and what you put in them.

And, you may not realize this, but some people prefer to read comics backward in order to make more sense out of them, at least in part. It’s something to be aware of, anyway.
