♦ Six Chix reached ten years. Congrats! This is a good time to jump in and start reading about the Tales of a Checkered Man.
♦ Without further ado, let me introduce to you The Sailor Twain Victorian Portraiture Contest. I can’t wait to see all your entries.
♦ Storming The Tower pointed us to a helpful checklist for starting your comic. Also, Rene Egstrom returns. (More breakdown available at McCloud’s site.) And Mooky Chick gave us some common sense tips on making webcomics. The Bean also had some well written thoughts on what makes a webcomic work?
♦ The Daily Cartoonist pointed to Fleen’s discussion about Webcomics.com. Manga Blog examined the aftermath of CMX’s cancelation, plus a ton of manga reviews. CBR mentioned that Hope Larson asked what comics girls like, which was interesting. She seems to have polled true, discerning fans.
♦ ComixTalk had some good comic link stuff, including an interview with Chris Watkins. And then you can check out Underground and Independent Comics, Comix, and Graphic Novels.
