Delos; thank you for the review of my comic. It is indeed done with pen and marker. Your comments were very constructive and give me hope that I can keep improving.

Majyc; sorry you don't care for the artwork. Your comments are well taken; the comic artists I like best tend towards the sketchy ( Frank Miller, Kevin O'Neill, John Romita Jr., Darick Robertson, and in a way Frank Quitely ), and I try to go draw quickly so that I can keep up the momentum of the strip. Any suggestions method-wise for me?

We all have skills in certain techniques and areas plus we all have to start somewhere. Ruby's World has a solid foundation and room to grow. We can see the improvement between http://rubysworld.smackjeeves.com/comics/443812/rubys-world-ch-1-page-1/ and http://rubysworld.smackjeeves.com/comics/679610/rubys-world-chapter-10-page-4/, right?

I also try to keep in mind that every comic is someone's personal creation - their baby. That said, I believe that if anyone has some specific feedback the creator would enjoy it.

I can't really get past the ugliness of it. I can enjoy sketchy/unfinished styles, which often have a lot of energy that can get worn away in the finishing and smoothing...but Ruby is just unpleasant for me to look at.
