I find animated images, and flash ads to be pretty irritating. I'm quite fine with the nice, quiet, non-moving ones that sit there not bothering me. It must be from years of those "Shoot the duck" ads. And while the material in the ads they're running are an interest to me, the animation is irritating, so I adblocked them.
