- Proabably the most important thing we can do is focus our efforts. Instead of trying to sell our comics to the world, why not just target ten people? If it were my idea, you’d say I was crazy. But it didn’t come from me, so you can at least consider it. And once you have an audience, perhaps newsletters are a good tool to use. Thanks to Bengo for pointing me to this fine example.

- We can all learn something from better use of whitespace. (The article deals mainly with text but the principles apply everywhere.)
- And I think it almost goes without saying that artists can think visually. It comes as a surprise to me that I don’t do more visual brainstorming. Likewise, when searching for alternatives and related ideas, this visual search would be my default search method.
- Finally, let’s be like Watterson and paint with watercolor. It’s never too bad to emulate Watterson, is it?
