Thanks to you too, Og. Not everyone always agrees with the reviewer…

Marooned is a fun comic with lots of potential and Tom will continue to make great progress, I’m sure.

I’m glad you dig the ArtPatient site, as well. I’ll (hopefully soon) have the older reviews entered into the wordpress archives.

Tom,

I’m sure that you’ll continue doing good work. You seem to be learning much more naturally and faster than I am, so keep doing what you’re doing.

After I finished the review, I read a couple of the other reviews. We all seem to be saying “Let’s see what happens.” Don’t take it too close to heart. It’s not because there’s any doubt about what you CAN do, but rather that the archives are too short to give an idea what you are likely to do. I also think we’re all interested to see what things you end up doing, too.

It did give me a chance to talk about something new comic artists should probably know as they are getting started.

Nice review, Delos! Your analysis and the lessons you learned are, I think, right on target. Marooned is a real nice strip, and I’m enjoying the process of watching Tom get his chops even as the strip matures.
